Larry H. Eisenberg, executive director of Facilities Planning and Development, for the Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD).
Eisenberg is overseeing the largest public sector sustainable building program in the nation, the $2.2 billion effort to rebuild and modernize the LACCD's nine colleges.

The Hon. Mona Field, member of the LACCD Board of Trustees.
The Hon. Mona Field was first elected in 1999 to the Board of Trustees of the LACCD, one of the nation's largest community college districts.

Woodrow "Woody" Clark, energy director for the LACCD.
Clark was the Deputy Director/Senior Policy Advisor to Governor Gray Davis' from 2000-03, focusing on sustainable development, renewable energy, advanced and emerging technologies.

NEWS

Eisenberg, Field and Clark will provide updates on the progress of the LACCD's green building program, the largest public sector sustainable building program in the United States, which is funded by the $2.2 billion Proposition A/AA Bond construction program approved by Los Angeles voters.

The LACCD's sustainability practices and dedication to green building has been recognized by numerous institutions, including the U.S. Green Buildings Council, Global Green USA and Flex Your Power. In April 2006, the District dedicated its first LEED(tm)-certified sustainable building on the campus of Los Angeles Valley College.
