Children Dig-In to Help Los Angeles Mission College Break Ground on New $9.1 Million Child Development Center

Proposition A/AA Bond Program

Groundbreaking ceremony for the new Child Development Center at Los Angeles Mission College. Ceremony marks the beginning of construction on the new, two-story, $9.1 million facility.

Los Angeles Mission College
(Construction site is located in the Northeast corner of the campus) 13356 Eldridge Avenue
Sylmar, CA 91342
Parking: Dirt lot located on Lexicon Avenue and Hubbard Street

VISUALS: Children with little hardhats and mini plastic shovels from the community help college officials celebrate the start of construction on the new Child Development Center. An active construction site will provide the backdrop for the ceremony.
   
NEWS:

The new Child Development Center will provide much-needed services to the surrounding communities in the San Fernando Valley. Upon completion, the two-level complex, will include classrooms for children, and educational observation space for students at Mission College, The new Child Development Center is part of Los Angeles Mission College’s current $176 million renovation and upgrade effort to enhance and modernize its facilities.
